This is post office bay. The barrel has been there for centuries in one form or another. It was used by old sailers to get mail back to their loved ones when they were away for long periods of time. Now in the same tradition, we flip through, see if any post cards are near our house, and take those home. If we have the full spirit, we hand deliver them. We also leave a post card for somebody else to deliver. |
